Our Vestry

  • Michaela Flash, Senior Warden

    Michaela is a lifelong Episcopalian, and began attending St. Philip’s at the age of 7. Michaela has served on several committees, led congregational retreats, and loves to be involved in everything St. Philip’s-related! Michaela is a trainer in the College for Congregational Development, an Episcopal initiative equipping lay leaders and clergy in congregational and organizational. Michaela also serves as the president for the Indianapolis Tollie Caution Chapter of the Union of Black Episcopalians.

  • Stephan Hall, Junior Warden

    Stephan M. Hall Sr, is 35 year veteran of the Indianapolis Fire Department and recently retired. Stephan is a life long member of St. Philips and has served in several capacities over the years. As a previous member of the Bishop’s Race and Reconciliation Commission Stephan has deep interest in seeing St. Philips led the way in race relations for the Indianapolis diocese.

  • Michael McGraw, Treasurer

    Michael and Jenny McGraw have been members of St. Philips, since 1985. They were married at St. Philips and their three children, Sarah, and twins Jordan and Joshua were baptized here. Michael has been involved as a member of the Vestry, the Treasurer, and on the annual Stewardship Campaign/Budget Committee. Currently, he is the Bookkeeper/Treasurer for St. Philips.

  • Sola Owens, Secretary

  • Careth Flash

    Careth Woodstock Flash is an educator and mixed media artist. She is an advocate for using art as a vehicle for social awareness and change, and currently organizes groups of high school students who use their artistic talents to perform various community service projects. Careth is a founding member of Soroptimist International Indy Metro and chairs the dream it be It workshops for young women. Careth is a former Senior Warden, and current president for St.Philips Women’s guild. Careth is married and has one daughter.
